Capturing the Spirit of the L&N Railroad

We aimed to capture the power of an old L&N Railroad engine with the Sylvan Supply Train Mural. Inspired by the historic rail lines that ran through the Madison Mill complex during its peak in the ‘60s, the mural, positioned on the parking garage wall, evokes the feeling of a train racing down a tunnel, reviving a sense of that industrial energy. Third and Urban transformed the Madison Mill site into Sylvan Supply, a mixed-use property at 4101 Charlotte Ave, Nashville, TN 37209. Next time you’re in the neighborhood, take a look!
